In section 505, after sub-section (2), the following sub-section shall be inserted, namely :— "(3) Upon receipt of the Commission, the Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, or such Judicial Magistrate subordinate to him as he may appoint in this be- half, may compel the attendance of, and examine, the witness as if he were a witness in a case pend- ing before himself.".
