(1) The State Government may, by general or special order, prohibit or restrict in any area any such exercise, movement, evolution or drill of a military nature as may be specified in the order. (2) The State Government may, by general or special order, with a view to securing that no unauthorised exercise, movement, evolution or drill of a military nature is performed at any place, prohibit, restrict or impose con- ditions on the holding of, or taking part in, any such camp, parade, meeting or assembly, or such class thereof, as may be specified in the order. (3) If any person contravenes any order made under this section, he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to five years or with fine or with both.
