XIX of 1950.3 (Chapter -H.—Supplementary and Procedural.—Section 41.) (2) No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against Government for or on account of or in respect of any act, matter or thing whatsoever, which even though the West Bengal Security Act, 1948, was not in force, was purported to have been done in pursuance of or under the said Act at ally time between the expiry of the said Act and the publica- tion of the West Bengal Security Ordinance, 1949, in the Official Gazette or which even though the West Bengal Security Ordinance, 1949, was not in force, was purported to have been done in pursuance of or under the said Ordi- nance at any time between the ceasing to be in force of the said Ordinance and the publication of this Act in the Official Gazette.
