Ben. Ord. VI of 1946. (2) The provisions of sub-section (1) shall apply in rela- tion to any omission on the part of a person to do anything which he is under a duty, either to the State Government or to any public authority or to any person, to do, as they apply to the doing of any act by a person. (3) If any person contravenes any of the provisions of this section, he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to seven years or with fine or with both.
