The State Government may, by order, remove from office the Chairperson, the Vice- Chairperson, if any, or any other member of the Corporation, who— (a) has refused to act, or (b) has become incapable of acting, or (c) without excuse, sufficient in the opinion of the State Government, is absent from more than four consecutive meetings of the Corporation, or (d) has so abused his position as to render his continuance in the Corporation detrimental to the interest thereof or of the general public, or (e) is otherwise unfit to continue as a member.
