In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "appointed day" means the date on which this Act comes into force; (b) "the institution" means the S. B. Dey Sanatorium at Kurseong in the district of Darjeeling, run by the Calcutta Medical Aid and Research Society, a society registered under the Societies 21 of 1860. Registration Act, 1860; (c) "Prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act.
