- S. 1This Act may be called the West Bengal Restriction on Construe- Short title
- S. 2In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— Definitions
- S. 3Section mandates District Magistrate to investigate areas likely to subside due to mining or other causes.
- S. 4Section 4 mandates the District Magistrate to declare unsafe areas likely to subside due to mining or other factors, after inquiry.
- S. 5Section prohibits construction in declared unsafe areas without District Magistrate's written permission.
- S. 6Section penalizes construction in declared unsafe areas with imprisonment, fines, or both.
- S. 7Section 7 empowers the District Magistrate to order demolition of unauthorized constructions and recover costs from the owner.
