(1) The University shall constitute for the benefit of its salaried officers (including the Vice-Chancellor), Teachers and other servants, in such manner and subject to such condi- tions as may be prescribed by Statutes, such pension, insur- ance or provident funds as it may deem fit. (2) Where a provident fund has been constituted by the. University for the- benefit of its officers, Teachers and other servants of the University, the provisions of the Provident Funds Act, 1925 shall apply to such fund as if the fund were 19 of 1928„ a Government Provident Fund.
