(1) The State Government may, after such enquiry as it may consider necessary, sanction with or without modification the scheme submitted under section 79 and the scheme so sanctioned shall be published by notification and shall come into force from such date as may be specified by the State Government in the notification. (2) Every scheme of free and compulsory education sanctioned under the West Bengal Urban Primary Education Act, 1963, and in West Ben. force in any area immediately before the coming into force of this Act A0feit9x6X3VD1 in such area shall, unless otherwise directed by the State Government, be deemed to be a scheme sanctioned under this Act.
