Except as otherwise provided in this Act, the Primary School ten; frorn Council Fund shall be applied in connection with the following objects Primary School and in the following order, namely:— Council Fund. first, payment of interest upon any loan obtained by the Primary School Council for any of the purposes connected with this Act and for the formation of a sinking fund when required; secondly, payment of the prescribed percentage of the cost of the establishment maintained by the Collector under Ben. Act section 91 of the Cess Act, 1880; TX of 1880. thirdly, payment of the cost of audit; 410 The West Bengal Primary Education Act, 1973. XLIII of 1973.1 (Part I11.—Chapter V111.—Finance and audit.—Sections 73, 74.— Part 1V.—Chapter IX.—Contributions.—Section 75.) fourthly, payment of the salaries, allowances and all other expenses in connection with the establishment of the Primary School Council and all teachers in primary schools and, subject to the prescribed conditions, of pensions, family pensions, gratuities and grants made for submitting contribution to the provident fund in connection with the establishment of the Primary School Council and of teachers in primary schools; fifthly, payment of travelling allowance to members of the Primary School Council; sixthly, payment of expenses incurred by the Primary School Council in connection with the construction and maintenance of houses for primary schools and providing equipments to such schools; sevenlhly, carrying out any other purposes under this Act.
