(1) An elected, a nominated or an appointed member of any Committee who is also a member of the Board, shall continue to hold office until he ceases to be a member of the Board. (2) An elected, a nominated or an appointed member of any Committee who is not a member of the Board, shall hold office for such term, as may be prescribed and may on expiration of such term, be re-elected, re-nominated or re-appointed: Provided that notwithstanding the expiration of the said term, an elected, a nominated or an appointed member of a Committee shall continue to hold office until the vacancy caused by the expiration of the said term has been filled in accordance with the provisions of this Act. (3) The provisions of section 5 and of sections 8, 12 and 13 shall apply, mutatis truitandis, to members of any Committee as if reference to the Board or the President were references to such Committee or the Chairman of such Committee.
