Provided that the State Government may, by notification, extend this Act or any specified part thereof to any other area specified in the notification. (4) It shall remain in force up to the 31st day of March, 1953 : Provided that the expiration of this Act shall not render recoverable any sum which during the continuance thereof was irrecoverable or affect the right of a tenant to recover any sum which during the continuance of this Act was recover- able by him thereunder.
