(1) If any registered practitioner whose name has been removed from the Register under sub-section (2) of section 25 or sub-section (2) of section 26, fails, without sufficient cause, forthwith to surrender his certificate of registration, he shall be punishable with fine which may extend to fifty rupees. (2) Cognizance of an offence punishable under this sec- tion shall not be taken except upon complaint made by an order of the Parishad.
