Section 99

(1) A Sabhapati or a Sahakari Sabhapati or a member of a Panchayat Samiti may resign his office by notifying in writing his intention to do so to the prescribed authority and on such resignation being accepted the Sabhapati, the Sahakari Sabhapati or the member shall be deemed to have vacated his office. (2) When a resignation is accepted under sub-section (1), the prescribed authority shall communicate it to the members of the Panchayat Samiti within thirty days of such acceptance.
