(b) the imposition, assessment and collection of the taxes, rates, tolls or fees le-viable under this Aet; (c) the maintenance and . control of dafadars and chowkidans within its jurisdiction and secur- mg the due performance by the dafadars and chokidars of the duties imposed on them under this .Act; and (ad) the proper constitution and administration of the yaya Panchayat established under this Act. ~2) The Anchal Panchayat may also perform such other duties as may be assigned to it by the State Government.
