(1) A District Board may, with the concurrence of a Grarn Panchayat and subject to such restrictions and conditions as may be mutually agreed upon,. delegate to such Gram Panchaya any of its functions in the manner prescribed. (2) Where functions are delegated to a Gram Panchayat under this section, the G1·am Panchayat, in the discharge of such functions, shall act as the agent of the District Board.
