(1) The Registrar shall be a whole-time officer of the University. XXV of 1981.] (Chapter 11.—The University and its officers.—Sections 12-15.) (2) The Registrar may resign his office by writing under his hand addressed to the Vice-Chancellor. (3) If the Registrar is for any reason temporarily unable to exercise the powers or perform the duties of his office, the Vice-Chancellor with the approval of the Executive Council may appoint a Teacher of the University or an officer of the University temporarily for a total period not exceeding six months to exercise the powers and perform the duties of the Registrar.
