In sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Bengal Non- Amend- Agricultural Tenancy (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1940, for ment of =ion 1 the words "five years" for which the words "seven years" -Act IX o f have been substituted by section 2 of the Bengal Non-Agri- cultural Tenancy (Temporary Provisions) Amendilient Act, 1940. 1945, the words "eight years" shall be substituted.
