(1) This Act may be called the West Bengal Short title, National Volunteer Force Act, 1949. extent and (2) It extends to the whole of West Bengal. (3) It shall come into force on the date on which the West Bengal National Volunteer Force Ordinance, 1948, ceases to operate.
