(1) As soon as may be after the appointed day, the State Government shall by notification appoint such person as it thinks fit to be Estate Manager on such terms and conditions as the State Government may determine. (2) The Estate Manager shall exercise the powers conferred, and perform the duties imposed, on him by or under this Act.
