Every Councillor and the Commissioner of the Corporation shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, and 45 of 1860. in the definition of "legal remuneration" in section 161 of that Code, the word "Government" shall, for the purposes of this section, be deemed to include the Corporation.
