Subject to the provisions of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 18 of 1969. 1969, the Corporation shall cause registration of births and deaths taking place within the Corporation area, and extracts of information therefrom shall, on applica- tion, be supplied, free of charge, if the event of such birth or death is registered within the period specified in section 326 or section 328, as the case may be. If registration is not dpne within the period as aforesaid, such registration shall be done under the provisions of section 13 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969.
