The Commissioner may erect or fix to the outside of any building brackets for lamps to be lighted with oil or, subject to the provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003, for lamps to be lighted with electricity or otherwise or, subjects to the provisions of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885, for telegraph wires or telephones wires for the conduct of electricity for locomotive' purposes. Such brackets shall be so erected or fixed as may not occasion any inconvenience or nuisance to the occupants of the said building or of any other building in the neighbourhood or to the public.
