Section 193

(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in section 192, the Commissioner may, with the prior approval of the Mayor-in-Council, by a written notice, require the owner of a premises to sink a tube-well, if the premises is to be used as a place of public resort, or as a market, or as a place of employment of more than fifty persons, or for any other reason to be recorded in writing. (2) Every such owner shall be bound to take a licence for such tube-well on such conditions, and on payment of such annual fee, as the Corporation may determine.
