(1) The State Government may require the Municipality to participate in such training and research programmes as may be organised by the Institute of Local Government and Urban Studies from time to time in aid of the municipal functionaries and personnel. (2) It shall be obligatory on the part of the Municipality to furnish such papers, reports, documents, information, data and statistics as may be called for by the Institute of Local Government and Urban Studies from time to time.
