Every public notice given under this Act or the rules or the Public oti how regulations made thereunder shall be in writing under the signature of the t n o be ces made Chairman or any officer of the Municipality authorised in this behalf known. by the Board of Councillors, and shall be widely made known in the locality to be affected thereby, by affixing copies thereof in conspicuous public places within such locality or by advertisement in local newspapers or by publishing the same otherwise as the Chairman-in- Council may think fit.
