Section 280

(1) No commodity or article or animal or bird shall be sold or exposed for sale by a hawker or squatter within a distance of forty-five metres from the outward confines of any municipal market or licensed private market without the permission of the Board of Councillors. (2) Any person contravening the provisions of sub-section (1) and any commodity or article or animal or bird exposed for sale by such person may be summarily removed by or under the order of the Chairman.
