The Board of Councillors shall, for any acquisition made under this Chapter, pay reasonable compensation to the person adversely affected. In determining such compensation, allowance shall be made for any benefit accruing to the same premises or any adjacent premises belonging to the same owner from the construction or improvement of any other public street, square, park or garden at or about the same time that public street, square, park or garden on account of which the compensation is paid is closed. 284 The West Bengal Municipal Act, 1993.
