(1) On an application made by a Board to the Collector for the recovery of arrears of any amount payable to it under this Act or any scheme, accompanied by a statement of accounts in respect of such arrears, the Collector may, after making such inquiries as he deems fit, grant a certificate for the recovery of the amount due to the Board as arrears. (2) A certificate by the Collector shall be final and conclusive as to the an-ears due and the amount shall be recoverable as arrears of land revenue.
