In this Act, unless., there is anything repugnant Definitions. in the subject or context,— (a) "child" includes a still-born child; (b) "employer" includes the occupier and the manager of a plantation or a factory; (c) "expected day of her delivery" means the expected day of delivery of a woman as deter- mined by the medical practitioner referred to in sub-section (1) of section 6; (d) "factory" means— (i) a factory as defined in clause (j) of section 2 XXV of of the Factories Act, 1934, or
