Any person who manages and operates a port under the provisions of this Act shall pay to the Board an amount as may be fixed by the State Government from time to time. Such amount may be fixed as a percentage of the annual turnover or in such other manner as the State Government may decide in consultation with such person and the Board. The amount shall be payable on quarterly basis. CHAPTER VI Powers and responsibilities of Board in relation to the use of ports Power of Board to undertake certain works.
