The members shall be paid by the Board such fees and allowances Fees and for attending meetings of the Board or of any committee of the Board and allowances payable to for attending any work of the Board as may be provided by rules: members. Provided that— (a) no fees shall be payable to the Chairman or any other member of the Board who is a Member of Parliament or of the State Legislature or an employee of the State Government; (b) any allowances payable to a member who is a Member of Parliament or of the State Legislature shall not exceed the compensatory allowance as defined in clause (a) of section 2 to of 1959. of the Parliament (Prevention of Disqualification) Act, 1959, or, as the case may be, in any other law for the time being in force providing for such allowance for the members of the State Legislature.
