Any person who carries on his person or knowingly Punish. has in his possession or under his control any arms, ammunition went for 54 of 1959. or military stores as defined in the Arms Act, 1959, or explo- carrying sive substances as defined in the Explosive Substances Act, possessing 6 of 1908. 1908, or corrosive substance, under such circumstances as to any give rise to a reasonable suspicion that he does not carry it on corrosive his person or have it in his possession or under his control for substance.. a lawful object, shall, unless he can show that he was carry- ing it on his person or that he had it in his possession or undeil his control for a lawful object, be punishable with imprison- ment for a term which may extend to seven years, to which fine may be added.
