In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— Definitions. (a) "Legislative Assembly" means the Legislative Assembly of the State of West Bengal; (b) "Legislative Council" means the Legislative Council of the State of West Bengal existing immediately before the of 1969. coming into force of the West Bengal Legislative Council (Abolition) Act, 1964.
