(1) As soon as may be, after the commencement of this Act, a Board, to be called the West Bengal Khadi and Village Industries Board, shall be established by the State Govern- ment for the purposes of this Act. (2) The Board shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal and may, by the said name, sue and be sued.
