(1) The first members of the University referred to in sub-section (3) of section 8 and all other persons who may hereafter become members of the University shall, so long as they continue to be members, constitute a body corporate by the name of the University of Kalyani. (2) The University shall have perpetual succession and a common seal and shall sue and be sued in the name of the University of Kalyani.
