(1) This Act may be called the West Bengal Jute Short (Control of Prices) Act, 1950. title, extent and coin- (2) It extends to the whole of West Bengal. IIIOLICO (3) It shall come into force on the date on which the West ment* Bengal Jute (Control of Prices) Ordinance, 1949, ceases to operate.
