- S. 1(1) This Act may be called the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board extent and commencement

- S. 7(1) The Board may form Committees and sub-committees for the purpose of discharging the overall functions of the Board

- S. 11(1) The Board shall have a Registrar who shall be appointed by the State Government, by order
- S. 12(1) The Board shall have a Controller of Examinations who shall be appointed by the State Government, by order
- S. 13(1) The Law Officer and the Accounts Officer of the Board shall be appointed by the State Government on deputation

- S. 20The State Government shall have the power to remove difficulty that may arise in applying the provisions of this Act

- S. 27(1) With effect from the date of effect of this Act, the Order vide no
