Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force, a housing scheme may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:— (a) the acquisition by purchase, exchange or otherwise of any pro- perty necessary for the scheme; (b) the construction and reconstruction of buildings; (c) the sale, letting out or exchange of any property included in the scheme; (d) roads, drainage, water-supply, lighting, parks, playgrounds and open spaces within a housing scheme; (e) the reclamation or reservation of lands for markets, gardens, schools, dispensaries, hospitals and other amenities in a housing scheme; (f) the letting out, management and use, of the Board premises; (g) accommodation for any class of inhabitants; (h) the advancing of money for the purpose of the scheme; (i) the collection of such information and statistics as may be necessary for successful implementation of the scheme; (j) any other matter for which, in the opinion of the Board or the State Government, it is expedient to make provision with a view to providing housing accommodation and to improving or developing of any area included in a housing scheme.
