Any land, with or without structures thereon, required by the Commissioners for carrying out their functions under this Act may be acquired under the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 and any such acquisition shall be deemed to be acquisition for a "public purpose" within the meaning of clause U) of section 3 of that Act.
