Upon the constitution of the Council— (1) the General Council and State Faculty of Homoeo- pathic Medicine, West Bengal shall cease to exist and the assets and liabilities thereof shall stand transferred to the Council ; (2) any order passed, any appointment made, anything whatsoever begun or done by the General Council and State Faculty of Homoeopathic Medicine, West Bengal, shall, so far as it is not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be deemed to have been passed, made, begun or done by the Council.
