(1) The members of the Council shall constitute from among themselves, an Executive Committee to perform such functions, discharge such duties and exercise such powers as may be delegated to it by the Council. (2) The Executive Committee shall consist of the President and the Vice-President, ex-offioio,, and five other members elected by the members of the Council in the prescribed manner from among themselves.
