For the purposes of this chapter,— (a) references to printing shall be construed as including references to writing and other modes of repre senting or reproducing letters, words or figures in a visible form; and (h) documents or other matters shall be deemed to be distributed if they are distributed to persons or places within or outside the area or areas in which this chapter is in force and the word "distribution" shall be construed accordingly.
