10 The West Bengal Fire Services Act, 1950. [West Ben. Act (Chapter 17.1.—Miscellaneous.—Sections 36-40.) (2) Whenever such person shall be taken to a police- station, the officer in charge of such station shall, as soon as possible, but in every case within twenty-four hours, cause him to be conveyed before a Magistrate having jurisdiction in the matter.
