In the West Bengal Multi-storeyed Building Tax Act, 1979, in section 3, in sub-section (3), in item I,— (a) for sub-item (i), the following sub-item shall be substituted and shall be deemed to have been substituted with effect from the 1st day of April, 1994:— "(i) where the annual value does not Rupees two per exceed Rs. 60 per square metre square metre."; (b) sub-item (ii) shall be omitted and shall be deemed to have been omitted with effect from the 1st day of April, 1994; (c) in sub-item (iii), for the words "Rupees two per square metre.", the words "Rupees two and a half per square metre." shall be substituted and shall be deemed to have been substituted with effect from the 1st day of April, 1994.
