Subject to the provisions of this Act, Statutes may be made to provide for all or any of the following matters:— (a) the declaration of posts as posts of officers of the University referred to in clause (iv) of section 6; (b) the establishment of authorities of the University referred to in clause (7) of section 13; (c) the constitution, powers and duties of the authorities of the University in so far as these have not been specifically provided for in this Act; (d) the powers, duties, and terms and conditions of service of the officers of the University in so far as these have not been specifically provided for in this Act; (e) the rules and procedure for holding elections to the Court, the Execu- tive Council and other authorities and bodies of the University; (f) the appointment of Teachers and non-teaching employees of the University, their emoluments, duties and terms and conditions of service in so far as these have not been specifically provided for in this Act; the holding of convocations to confer degrees, titles, diplomas, cer- tificates and other academic distinctions including honorary degrees and distinctions; (h) all other matters which under this Act are required to be, or may be, prescribed by Statutes.
