(1) The term of office and allowances of a nominated Member of the Authority shall be such as may be prescribed: Provided that the State Government may, if it thinks fit, terminate, by order and for the reasons to be recorded in writing, the appointment of any nominated Member before the expiry of his term of office. (2) A nominated Member of the Authority may resign his membership under his hand addressed to the State Government and, on acceptance of such resignation by the State Government, he shall cease to be a Member as such. (3) Any vacancy, by resignation, death or otherwise, of a nominated Member shall be filled by fresh nomination by the State Government.
