- S. 1(1) This Act may be called the West Bengal District Short title School Boards Act, 1947
- S. 2In this Act, the expression "Boundary Commission" -• means qthe Boundary Commission referred to in the Indian Definition

- S. 4Section 4 allows the Provincial Government to establish district school boards in specified West Bengal districts.
