The State Government may appoint one or more Controllers of Correctional Services for each correctional home (other than a subsidiary correctional home) as it may consider necessary. Subject to the control of the Superintendent, the Controller of Correctional Services shall be competent to perform all or any of the duties of the Chief Controller of Correctional Services and shall perform such other duties as may be prescribed. 248 The West Bengal Correctional Services Act, 1992.
