The Corporation shall, for the purpose of carrying out its functions under this Act, have the following powers, namely:— (a) to acquire, hold and dispose of movable and immovable property; (b) to incur expenditure in the discharge of its functions under this Act; (c) to borrow money with or without interest subject to such terms and conditions as may be prescribed, and for that purpose pledge, hypothecate or mortgage any of its assets; (d) to advance loans on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed; (e) to write off loans subject to such conditions as may be prescribed; (f) to enter into or perform such contracts as may be necessary for the performance of its duties and the exercise of its powers under this Act.
